Universal Design
Instructional experiences must center the learning of ALL students. Universal Design for Learning is a framework that is centered on equity and reducing barriers to access for different types of learners. This involves providing information in a variety of different ways, engaging learners, and providing appropriate accommodations. Every learner brings different strengths to a course, and it is the role of an Instructional Designer to find ways to connect to those strengths.
